The 3 Circles tool presents three states we can be in, running from God, repenting of sin, and being made new. How do the three circles relate to those three states?

Get into pairs and practice going through the 3 Circles presentation with each other. Begin the conversation by asking the person you are presenting to about some concern they have in their life and connecting it to the 3 circles.

What surprised you about how the presenter shared with the unbeliever? What surprised you about the unbeliever’s reaction?

Imagine sharing the gospel with someone and receiving a red light, yellow light, and green light response. What emotions did you experience when imagining someone giving you a red light, yellow light, or green light response?

Which response to the gospel do you anticipate getting the most often as you practice this?

The trainer mentions teaching new believers the “411” immediately. That is his terminology for the Great Commission expectation of making disciples. Why is the idea of making disciples so important to teach to new believers early into their life with Christ? 

He also mentions teaching new believers the commands of Christ quickly as well. Why would this be important? What might be included? We will discuss contexts for sharing this information with new believers and yellow-lights in future weeks.
